It’s a typical example of the police state that we live in that WWII Veterans (mainly ex-conscripts) that do NOT support the Poppy Appealneither wearing one nor contributing to it, are not given a voice on the mass media. It's as if they don't exist, their viewpoint banished from history. As theseVeterans numbers are now few, their sons, daughters and wives endeavour to askthe same unanswered questions: The wartime euthanasia policy to save onpost-war welfare costs, “The Government Directed Pensions Fraud,” along withmany other crimes have been skilfully covered up or glossed over. “If theVeterans’ “Charity” fully supports veterans, why don’t they ask pertinentquestions and why aren’t they a thorn in the side of successive governments?” Theanswer is simple – they are part of the authorities PR department, set up tosteer public attention away from stark realities and the establishments' criminal activities. It’s a brilliant exampleof mass manipulation that has sufficed for decades. 

My Father (a conscripted WW2 Veteran) was in the full Siege of Malta, first in on three major invasions – Sicily, Italy andD-Day. Post-war, he never wore his impressive array of medals nor wore a poppy.My father was not alone; many ex-service people had similar views, especially ex-conscripts. After enduring six years of wartime front line hell, the last thing they wanted to do was prance around, like overgrown schoolboys, saluting flags and acting like regimental zombies whilst unsuspectingly promoting the psychopath mindset. They called the "Charity" in question "The Tea Boy and Just Missed it Brigade," as most of the ranks of the "Charity" were made up of people that weren't in the front line but wanted to be part of the heroic extravaganza!  The greatesthonour we can give the genuine poor souls forced to fight in illuminate wars is toinvestigate the facts and not accept everything from official sources.After-all it's in the establishments' interest to gloss over the facts andproject an image of veterans that best suits them and the “Charity” allegedlyserves the purpose perfectly!
